As I stood at the top of a steep incline above Lake Erie, I became aware of a woman sitting on the rough stone break wall. She appeared to be gazing into the distance, captured by the aggressive sound of the splashing waves as they ebbed and flowed, or perhaps the sight of sailboats and swooping gulls in the distance. The contrast of colors and textures was mesmerizing. I especially enjoy capturing a scene that reaches out and reminds us to enjoy those rare moments in nature when all around us is light and warmth.
