Artist's Story

The perennial garden shimmered in the mid-summer heat, as I became aware of the gardener hard at work on the annual task of staking tomato plants. As a painter, I was compelled to capture this extraordinary composition of an ordinary day in the life of an urban gardener.

Tim employs masterful techniques in transparent watercolor and dry-brush, to create paintings with unusual depth and detail. His subjects depict simple pleasures, respect for nature, and the ability to capture the unique warmth and character of people and their environments.
