These scythes, now retired from decades of hard work in the fields, stand proudly against a weather-beaten shutter. So efficient were their cutting abilities that witnesses insist when in the hands of a skilled user, they could cut hay closer than many tractor powered mowers.
Here, the rusted blades display the scars of many seasons harvesting crops of wheat and hay.
NOTE: Retired by Time was included in the 2011 Georgia Watercolor Society International Juried Exhibition. Since then, it has been included in a number of exhibits. The original was recently added to the ‘currently available for sale’ category.

Each giclée print is packaged flat with a rigid cardboard backer, which is inserted in a moisture-resistant cello sleeve. This is then inserted into a rigid mailer.
Processing and printing may require up to one week. Our goal is to have your print to you within 10 to 14 days max. On average, delivery is often faster than this.
We offer a standard flat rate of $15.00 to any location within the contiguous United States. Please request a quote for a large volume of prints, or when international shipping is required.
