I am a pure lover of architecture and have always loved skylines. Everywhere I visit, I’m awed by skylines that look like sculptures on the landscape. Sunsets in the city can be dramatic. In this case, I was captured by the musical effects of the tops of the buildings rising out of the fog, as seen from the 11th floor rooftop of a condo building. I chose the title because it seemed to me to symbolize hope – light rising out of fog against a warm sky. It’s a powerful imagery that caught my deeper sense about the scene.
